Calculator values are processed in your browser. Downloads are created locally. Hosting, contact channels, and added services can handle information separately.

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains the calculator features provided under the name CompoundInterestCalculator.pro at compoundinterestcalculator.pro, the information involved when you use those features, and how to raise a privacy question.

The calculator interface and its calculations run in your browser. Website hosting and any additional WordPress features are separate from the calculator logic. Information collected by a contact form, comments system, embedded service, or other feature should also be explained at the point where you use it.

2. Calculator inputs and results

You can enter amounts, rates, time periods, contribution details, ages, expenses, and other assumptions to generate a calculation. The calculator code processes these values on your device. It does not send calculator entries or results to an application server, create a financial account, or save your entries in cookies or browser storage.

Inputs remain in the current page while you use it. Reloading or leaving the page may clear them, although your browser may independently retain or restore form values. Do not enter bank account numbers, payment-card details, passwords, government identifiers, or other information the tools do not need.

If you choose to download a CSV or print a result, the calculator creates that output locally. Your downloaded or printed copy is then under your control and may contain your assumptions and results.

3. Website access and technical information

Loading a website requires communication with its hosting infrastructure. Hosting, content delivery, and security services may process connection information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page requested, request time, referring page, and error information.

This technical information can support page delivery, troubleshooting, protection against misuse, and service reliability. The calculator's local processing does not prevent the hosting platform from handling these ordinary website requests.

4. Cookies, analytics, and added services

The supplied calculator code does not set cookies, use local storage, or include analytics or advertising scripts. This statement concerns the calculators themselves; it is not a statement that every feature of a WordPress installation or hosting service is cookie-free.

Cookies or similar technologies introduced by the website platform, security tools, embedded content, analytics, or advertising have their own purposes and settings. Check any cookie notice and preference controls displayed on the website for details of those services. Where consent is required for optional technologies, permission should be requested separately from these terms and this policy.

You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking certain cookies can affect features that depend on them. The calculator does not require advertising or analytics cookies to perform its mathematical calculations.

5. Information you choose to send

If you contact the site operator through an available contact channel, you choose what to provide. This can include your name, email address, message, and details of a calculation or technical issue. A message is separate from a calculator entry: information you include in a message is transmitted through the contact channel you use.

Contact information is used to review and respond to the request, investigate reported issues, and keep an appropriate record of the correspondence. Avoid sending sensitive financial records. For a calculation issue, example or fictional values are often enough to explain the problem.

6. Purposes and sharing

Information handled in operating the website is relevant to delivering its pages, responding to messages, maintaining security, diagnosing faults, and meeting applicable obligations. Hosting, security, and communication providers can receive information needed to perform their services. Information can also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address an abuse or security incident.

The calculator code does not transmit your financial assumptions to an advertising network, lender, investment provider, or other third party. Links to external websites do not make those providers part of the calculator; their own privacy terms apply when you visit or use their services.

Where data protection law requires a lawful basis for processing, the applicable basis depends on the activity, such as responding to a requested service, a legal obligation, a legitimate interest in secure operation, or consent for an optional feature. A privacy notice does not itself provide consent for tracking or marketing.

7. Retention, security, and location

The calculator code does not retain an application-side history of your inputs or results. You decide how long to keep exported files. Retention of hosting logs, correspondence, or data collected by an additional service depends on the purpose, the provider's settings, unresolved issues, and applicable legal requirements.

Data should be retained only for the period needed for its stated purpose and relevant obligations. No website transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care with information sent through a contact channel and with exported files stored on shared devices.

Hosting or communication services may process information in countries other than yours. Any legally required information about international transfers and safeguards depends on the providers and processing arrangements actually used.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy in a portable format. You may also have a right to object to certain processing or to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights can be subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

To ask a privacy question or exercise a right, use the contact channel listed on our Contact page. Describe your request and provide only the information needed to identify the relevant correspondence. The site operator may need to verify a request before disclosing or changing personal information. Applicable statutory response requirements govern how requests are handled.

If a concern remains unresolved, you may be entitled to complain to the data protection authority responsible for your location. You can also limit the information you enter, avoid sending sensitive details, manage browser settings, and delete downloaded outputs from your device.

9. Children and changes to this policy

The website provides general educational calculators and is not designed to request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information through a contact channel can ask the operator to review it.

This policy can be updated when features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Changes to actual hosting, forms, analytics, advertising, or embedded services should be reflected in the published policy and relevant notices.
