About Us
Simple tools. Transparent assumptions.
More confidence in the questions you ask.
Turn “what if?” into something you can explore.
Understand the effect of time, contributions, rates, and payments with clear calculators and practical explanations.
Our mission
Money questions become easier to explore when the numbers are clear. CompoundInterestCalculator.pro provides free calculators that help you understand compound interest, compare assumptions, and see how time and regular contributions can affect a savings plan.
Our aim is to make everyday financial calculations approachable. Start with a question, enter your own figures, and review the result alongside the method and limitations that produced it.
Tools for the questions behind your goals
Our collection brings together 13 calculators for different planning questions:
- Savings and growth: compound interest, savings goals, time to a goal, investment comparisons, simple versus compound interest, APY, and the Rule of 72.
- Borrowing and repayments: loan payments, debt payoff, and the potential effect of extra mortgage payments.
- Longer-term planning: retirement savings, inflation and purchasing power, and emergency fund targets.
Each calculator has its own inputs and explanation. Where useful, you can inspect a chart and yearly table, download a CSV, or print a result. Currency options change the display format; they do not convert exchange rates.

We show the assumptions behind a projection so you can understand what changes the outcome. Adjust a rate, contribution, payment, or timeframe to compare possibilities. A useful estimate should make its limits as clear as its headline number.
The tools use mathematical models and the values you provide. They do not fetch personalized bank rates, examine your accounts, assess your creditworthiness, or forecast market performance. Explanations on each page describe important exclusions such as taxes, fees, and simplified timing.
Our blog introduces related ideas, including compounding, regular saving, borrowing costs, and the effect of inflation. It is designed to support understanding alongside the calculators.
Designed for straightforward use
The calculator code performs its calculations in your browser. It does not require you to submit your financial assumptions to an application server or create a calculator account. Downloaded results are generated on your device.
Hosting and other website features can handle information separately. Our Privacy Policy explains that distinction. Avoid entering account numbers, passwords, or other sensitive details that a calculation does not need.
Estimates to explore, not outcomes to promise
A projected balance or repayment date is an illustration, not a guarantee. Actual returns, inflation, rates, lender schedules, taxes, and fees may differ from the assumptions in a calculation.
Our content and tools are educational. They do not replace personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Review the method on the relevant tool page and verify important figures before making a decision. Our Terms and Conditions explain the website’s use and limitations.
Help us make the tools clearer
Useful feedback helps identify confusing explanations and calculation problems. If a result does not look right, tell us the calculator name, your non-sensitive example inputs, the result shown, and what you expected to see.
You can also suggest a related calculator or a topic you would like explained. Please do not send bank statements, account credentials, or other private financial records.

Include a short description of your question so we can understand the issue. For a technical problem, the calculator name and a fictional example are often enough.
